It has a 108-megapixel primary camera with Snapdragon 7S Generation 2 processor. A recent report has revealed that the company may soon introduce a new smartphone based on the design of another Nokia Lumia phone, Nokia Lumia 1020. However, the name of this alleged upcoming smartphone has not been revealed yet. Recently, a leaked render has revealed the supposed design elements of the alleged phone.

What will be special in HMD smartphone based on Nokia Lumia 1020?

The publication has shared a design render of this alleged HMD smartphone. It appears to have a box-like build similar to the HMD Skyline. However, it is rumored that the HMD smartphone will sport a centre-aligned circular rear camera module, while the HMD Skyline has a rectangular island. This circular camera unit resembles that of the older Nokia Lumia 1020. The module appears to have 5 small slots which are expected to house 4 cameras and an LED flash.

With Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support and 41-megapixel primary rear camera sensor, Nokia Lumia 1020 was the best option for camera lovers at that time. Lumia 1020 based HMD smartphone can also be a camera centric phone. The report says that the HMD smartphone based on Lumia 1020 may come in bright yellow option like the old Nokia model.
