Lava’s Blaze 3 5G, one of the big smartphone companies, will soon be launched in India. The company has given information about the design, colors and camera of this smartphone. It will replace the Lava Blaze 2 5G that was introduced last year. MediaTek Dimensity 6020 has been given as processor in Blaze 2 5G. Its dual rear camera unit has a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Lava posted a video on social media platform Post The launch of Blaze 3 5G in the country has been confirmed. However, information about its launch date has not been given. The design of this smartphone is shown in the teaser video given with this post. It is in Beige and Black colours. There is a square shaped camera module on the right corner of its rear panel. Hole punch cutout has been given in the front of this smartphone. There is a light ring in its camera island, the company has described it as ‘Vibe Light’.

This smartphone will have 50 megapixel dual rear cameras with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support. An 8-megapixel camera will be provided in its front for selfie and video calls. It has flat edges and slim bezels. The Blaze 3 5G could be an upgrade over the Blaze 2 5G that was introduced in November last year. The price of Blaze 2 5G variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage was Rs 9,999. This smartphone was made available in Glass Blue, Glass Lavender and Glass Black colors. It has a 6.56 inch HD + (720 x 1,600 pixels) display. The 5,000 mAh battery of Blaze 2 5G supports 18 W charging.

In the first half of the current year, shipments of 5G smartphones in the country have increased by 60 percent as compared to the same quarter last year. Most of the smartphone companies have launched new handsets in this segment. Market research firm Counterpoint reports that international shipments of 5G smartphones have increased by 20 percent on a year-on-year basis in the first half. With this, the share of 5G devices in all shipments of smartphones has increased to more than 50 percent. China ranks first with about 32 percent share in international shipments of 5G smartphones.
