The report by tipster OnLeaks claims that the price of Galaxy S24 FE will be higher than its previous model. The base 128GB storage model of this smartphone is expected to be priced at $649 (approximately Rs 54,176), while the 256GB storage model will be priced at $709 (approximately Rs 59,184). This is $50 (approximately Rs 4,173) more than the Galaxy S23 FE which was launched last year for $599 (approximately Rs 50,002).
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is rumored to have a larger 6.7-inch display compared to the 6.4-inch display on the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. This Galaxy Fan Edition is the largest display ever on a phone and is close to the size of the flagship Samsung S24 Ultra. In terms of processor, it is expected to get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 processor, the same chips that are used in the flagship S24 series. However, one small drawback may be that the clock speed of the Exynos chip in the S24 FE is rumored to be slightly lower, which is about 100MHz slower than the regular S24. This variant is expected to be sold in Europe and Asia.
A similar situation may apply to the Snapdragon variants in the US, which will feature a slightly underclocked version of the flagship chip. Talking about the camera setup, the leak has revealed that the setup will remain the same as the S23 FE, which will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, 8-megapixel telephoto camera and 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. There will be a 10-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls.
