Xiaomi is reportedly working on its upcoming smartphone series Xiaomi 15. The company can introduce the initial variants in this series as Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. A new leak has emerged regarding Xiaomi 15 series. Earlier, the specifications of this series have also been leaked. Now (via) A new disclosure has been made by popular tipster Digital Chat Station about its camera. The company can use 200MP camera in Xiaomi 15 Ultra. It could be a periscope telephoto lens with a Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor. The same sensor is also given in Vivo X100 Ultra.

What is special in Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor?
Samsung’s new HP9 sensor comes with a 1/1.4 optical lens. It has support for 200 million pixels, i.e. 20 crore pixels and each pixel is 0.56 micrometers. The pixel density of this sensor is very high and due to this the image is captured in great detail. It is equipped with Tetra Pixel technology and folds the pixels into a 4×4 configuration. This enhances the Bokeh effect and low-light photography can also be done with excellent results.

Another special thing about this sensor is that it gets in-sensor zoom up to 2x or 4x. Which can be combined with 3x optical zoom module. Because of this, it can zoom up to 12X while maintaining the image quality. That means it can capture photos with detail quality even in 12x zoom. Additionally, it has high refractive index micro lens support that can focus more closely on RGB colors. Due to this, it can capture photos in more sharp and vibrant colors than old sensors in low-light.

Specifications of Xiaomi 15 Ultra are now in rumors. According to the available information, the phone will have a dual layer OLED panel in which 2K resolution can be seen. Ultrasonic onscreen fingerprint sensor can be found in it. The phone can come with Android 15 based HyperOS 2.0. Up to 24GB RAM can be seen in it. The phone can come with a 6,200mAh battery.
